Update on Redistricting from the Texas Democratic Party:

Picture
After a two day hearing on redistricting in the San Antonio federal court, the 3-judge panel found that an April primary is almost impossible. The San Antonio court asked the Texas Democratic Party and the Republican Party of Texas to propose an election schedule to the court in case there is a May 29th primary. Please note that this date is not certain and that it is just the first date considered feasible for a primary after April. We'll begin working immediately with the Republican Party of Texas on an election schedule to meet the request of the judges.
