Early Voting is in progress!
May 14 - May 22 Early voting is now open and you have a wide variety of voting sites available to you. Click here to see a full list. If you prefer to vote by mail, there is still time to request a ballot. Click here to see instructions on how to request your ballot to be mailed to you. If you are planning to vote in person, you can confirm your registration on the Secretary of State's site or at the Harris County voter registrar's site. Please remember that you can use the same documents for proof of ID as you always have -- voter registration card, driver's license or state-issued ID, a birth certificate, passport, or official mail sent to you by a government entity. State Board of Education (SBOE) elections this year
This year all 15 seats on the State Board of Education are up for election. As Democrats, committed to a public school system that teaches valid, objective, and historically accurate information, we need to focus on supporting candidates for the SBOE who will empower Texas students with an education that adequately prepares them for the world and the job market they're facing.
